We have a tan boat garage on our property here in Wisconsin near Lake Superior.
In the winter it contains our 17' restored 1959 Thompson Sealancer, my 17' lapstrake row boat, a couple 8' ladders, the tractor lawn mower, and a bunch of other stuff needing seasonal storage.
Come summer the boats go out, the snow blower comes in, and the huge space that remains becomes my summer shop - a super place for varnishing boat projects. It is also a great place to be when the rain comes - always dry, with the pattering rain drops on the cover a comforting sound.
The round style unit quickly sheds rain, and if the lake effect snow piles too high a long handle broom easily cleans it off.
I installed the pre-drilled frame all by myself with a few hand tools, and two of us easily placed secured the ends and main cover.
All frame components are made from galvanized steel.
Main cover and doors are made from long life UV Resistant, Fire Retardant Poly with woven backing. CPAI-84 rated.
All fabric components feature heat-welded seam construction.
The unit features double zipper doors on BOTH ENDS to allow drive-through capability, and good ventilation.
Each door contains a pocket for a rigid pole and grommetts for securing them up during use.
And the unit came equipped with earth anchors and drive rod.
